Caring for your Woolino products is easy! Simply check the detergent label or product website for bleach or enzymes in the ingredient list and avoid these detergents.
While we offer and recommend Kookaburra, any wool or mild detergent will maintain and prolong the life of your Woolino garment. Heavy-duty detergents (those that contain bleach or are bio-based) can damage the merino wool fibers over time.

If you are new to merino wool, we like to share that merino wool by nature is self-cleaning and does not need to be washed as frequently as other fabrics! It is antibacterial and odor resistant and will disinfect itself in fresh air. To refresh and reduce washing, simply turn your garment inside-out and air it daily. We suggest hanging it over the crib rail until baby's next sleep. Washing frequency is a matter of personal preference, as often as you would wash a blanket. For small stains, we recommend spot cleaning to avoid a full wash. When ready to wash, please follow the care instructions on the garment tag for best results.
